Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to lead our dealership's used car department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automobile sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to manage inventory effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales performance while providing outstanding customer service and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, ensuring optimal inventory management and control.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance profitability.
Train, mentor, and manage the sales team to improve performance in areas such as customer service, upselling, and closing deals.
Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling and B2B sales initiatives to expand the customer base.
Negotiate deals with customers while maintaining profitability for the dealership.
Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure follow-up on potential customers.
Conduct public speaking engagements and presentations to promote dealership offerings and build community relationships.
Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

Skills

Proven experience in automobile sales with a strong understanding of retail math and inventory control.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of high-end sales success.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Proficient in CRM software usage for managing customer relationships and sales support activities.
Ability to deliver outstanding customer service while fostering lasting relationships with clients.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
