A well established, local automotive dealership is looking for an experienced Pre Owned Sales Manager in Colorado Springs. Qualified applicants will have a proven track record which speaks to meeting performance objectives in a high-end luxury environment while leading and motivating a high - performing sales team. Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- All aspects of active used inventory management to include pictures and stories for those merchandised on line, lot presentation to include labels, line ups, cleanliness and to follow up on the vehicle by inspecting and driving the vehicle.
- Manage inventory for turns and conduct physical counts of inventory
- Personnel management and mentoring to include product training, sales process training, coaching, setting effective goals (align personal goals with department/corporate goals), defining expectations regarding performance
- Desking deals and working alongside the salesperson throughout the process
- Meeting with customers early in the process
- Collaboration and effective working relationship with the Finance Manager
- Accurate and complete deal recaps (all RO’s, we owe’s, etc.)
- Achieve expert level of our tools such as CDK and CRM
Management Professional Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Minimum 3 years of automotive management experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills specifically phone and face-to-face
- An understanding of inventory control using established systems
- Strong Computer & Phone Skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Ability to be customer oriented while striking a balance between customer service and profitability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
