Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our full-service franchise automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader who inspires their team, fosters a culture of integrity and accountability, and delivers exceptional customer and employee satisfaction. This individual must have a strong background in new and used vehicle sales, fixed operations (service and parts), and overall dealership financial performance.

- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of sales, service, and parts departments.
- Ensure profitability and growth across all profit centers.
- Analyze and interpret dealership financial statements, setting and achieving budget goals.
- Implement effective inventory, pricing, and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Customer Experience & Reputation
- Maintain and improve CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores across all departments.
- Promote a culture of excellence in customer service and long-term relationship building.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and fairly.
- Performance & Accountability
- Set performance goals and hold department heads accountable for results.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Business Growth & Community Presence
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, service retention, and market share.
- Represent the dealership positively within the community and with manufacturer partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive dealership management experience, including time as a General Manager, General Sales Manager, or Fixed Operations Director.
- Strong knowledge of dealership financials, manufacturer relations, and operational best practices.
- Demonstrated success in improving profitability and CSI performance.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in DMS/CRM systems and reporting tools.
