As an Assistant Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. What you’ll do
- Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals through effective training and development.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct employee orientation and interviews to build a strong, skilled team.
- Manage customer service inquiries, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote products and drive sales.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and cash handling.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with a focus on sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales management.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising team members in a retail environment.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and retail math principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and foster teamwork.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance customer interactions.
