Our Internet Sales Manager will respond to Internet customer inquiries and ensure that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential on Internet sales. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills, a deep understanding of CRM and lead management systems, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience. Dealership Management Experience is required. The BDC Manager will also ensure that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential on Internet sales.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of BDC/Internet Sales Representatives to meet and exceed appointment-setting and sales goals.
- Monitor daily performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews. (Recruit, train, and onboard new BDC staff as needed.)
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up on all internet leads, phone inquiries, and unsold customer opportunities.
- Track, report, and analyze BDC metrics including appointment show rates, closing ratios, response times, and campaign performance.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure team members are delivering a professional, friendly, and helpful customer experience.
- Monitor customer communications for quality and adherence to company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain and update CRM and lead management tools to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Work closely with the dealership's sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.
- Collaborate on internet and digital marketing campaigns to increase lead traffic and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and all relevant federal, state, and local laws governing auto sales and consumer communications.
- Uphold company values and act as a role model for professionalism and accountability.
- Reliable attendance required.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a dealership manager role.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems and lead management best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Positive attitude, goal-oriented mindset, and strong leadership presence.
