Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and in-person interactions to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to match clients with suitable vehicles, emphasizing features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Demonstrate vehicles’ features and benefits confidently through public speaking and effective communication skills to educate and excite potential buyers.
- Negotiate deals with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining dealership profit margins.
- Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and presentation of high-end vehicles.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain organized sales support records.
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for retail sales growth and brand promotion.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients over the phone or via digital channels.
- Support dealership operations by assisting with retail math calculations, sales reports, and organizational tasks as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments, especially within a dealership setting.
- Strong outside sales skills with the ability to generate leads through cold calling and B2B (business-to-business) interactions.
- Excellent negotiation skills that facilitate deal closures while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Demonstrated success in high-end or luxury vehicle sales with a focus on premium client experiences.
