Automotive Used Car Sales Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- · Meet monthly forecast for used car sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
- · Create and organize all sales activities for the Used Car Sales department.
- · Ensure that salespeople are informed of all used inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentives. In addition build rapport with them and assist with their sales.
- · Appraise all incoming used vehicles.
- · Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership’s cost and time limitations.
- · Keep informed of auto auction activity and prices and attend auctions on a regular basis.
- · Establishes and controls wholesaling activities.
- · Work with the General Manager to forecast monthly sales expenses.
- · Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
- · Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
- · Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with the customers, co-workers and vendors.
- · Other duties may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- · 2 + years of Automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED).
- · Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
- · Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- · Strong leadership attitude with a record of team building to include requiting, training and motivating.
- · Knowledge of the local market and auctions.
- · Real attitude with high-energy personality.
- · Excellent customer service skills.
- · Professional appearance and work ethic.
- · Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
- · Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
- · Bilingual a plus.

Pay: $10,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month

- Auto Sales Manager: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Sales License (Required)
- California Drivers License with a clean driving record (Preferred)
