Walker Ford — a successful family-owned Ford dealership for over 68 years in Clearwater, FL — is looking for an experienced, energetic Sales Manager / Desk Manager to join our leadership team. We are growing fast, elevating our standards, and looking for a leader who can coach, motivate, and drive results while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Desk deals efficiently and accurately for new and pre-owned sales
- Support and coach our sales consultants to increase performance and closing ratios
- Work closely with F&I to maximize PVR, reserve, and product penetration
- Manage the sales floor, ensuring full coverage and customer engagement at all times
- Review and structure deals with strong understanding of credit, programs, and incentives
- Assist with lead management, follow-up processes, and CRM accountability
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and Ford Motor Company policies
- Maintain a positive, team-focused environment while driving results
What We’re Looking For:
- Automotive sales management experience required (Ford experience preferred but not required)
- Strong desking and deal-structuring skills (including subprime knowledge)
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a sales team
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong understanding of digital retailing, lead management, and sales processes
- High energy, professional demeanor, and a “lead by example” mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
