What You’ll Do
- Lead and Grow a Team -Recruit, hire, train, and coach a team of motivated sales professionals. Retain and inspire talent by creating a positive, high-energy culture.
- Drive Sales Performance - Set clear sales goals, track performance, and implement strategies to exceed volume and profit objectives across new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Deal Structuring & Customer Engagement -Work side-by-side with salespeople and customers to finalize deals, appraise trades, and maximize all manufacturer programs and incentives.
- Forecast & Plan Ahead – Analyze sales trends, forecast upcoming opportunities, and adjust tactics to keep the department growing quarter over quarter.
- Collaboration - Partner with finance managers, service leaders, and executive leadership to ensure smooth operations across the entire dealership.
- Customer First - Step in when needed to resolve questions, elevate the experience, and ensure every client feels welcomed, valued, and supported long after the sale.
- Reporting & Accountability - Provide leadership with accurate reporting on sales activity, pipeline status, and market performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of automotive sales experience, with at least 2 in a leadership or management role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and building high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of deal structuring, factory programs, and CRM systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Outgoing, service-driven mindset with sharp business acumen
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience in automotive sales management)
