Starved Rock Harley-Davidson is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our motorcycle sales team. This position requires a results-driven leader who can inspire performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and uphold the Harley-Davidson brand at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the motorcycle sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals
- Recruit, train, and coach sales staff to deliver superior customer service and maintain strong closing ratios
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, pricing, and merchandising in coordination with dealership leadership
- Develop and implement sales strategies, events, and promotional initiatives to drive traffic and revenue
- Maintain compliance with Harley-Davidson standards, policies, and programs
- Ensure accurate deal documentation and coordination with the Finance & Insurance department
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in automotive or powersports sales management required
- Proven record of leading a high-performing sales team
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Understanding of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, culture, and customer base preferred
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule
- Valid motorcycle endorsement or willingness to obtain one
