Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across diverse markets. Your expertise retail sales, F&I and dealership experience will be essential to succeed. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching, motivation, and performance management.
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals, focusing on outside sales efforts and expanding our market presence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers while actively prospecting new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and outreach.
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent follow-up and deal progression.
- Conduct negotiations with customers to secure favorable terms while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage inventory data, monitor sales metrics, and generate reports for analysis.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support upselling initiatives and increase overall revenue.
- Support the sales support team by providing training on product features, customer service excellence, and effective phone etiquette.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels for retail or dealership environments.
- Implement retail math principles for accurate pricing strategies and profit calculations.
- Maintain high standards of organizational skills to streamline operations, optimize inventory management, and improve overall efficiency.
- Tee up and support the F&I office to drive retail finance and product selling success.
Experience
- Proven success in powersports or auto dealership retail sales.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, deal closing, upselling techniques, and managing complex sales pipelines.
- Strong background in retail sales combined with excellent customer service skills; experience in outbound sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software tools for tracking leads, managing contacts, and analyzing sales data.
- Exceptional communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual candidates will have an advantage in diverse markets.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
