Honesdale Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, a proud member of the EcoDrive Auto Group, is seeking a proven Automotive General Sales Manager or an extremely high-performing Automotive Sales Manager with verifiable proof of success who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your passion for people, process, and performance will define the next chapter of this respected dealership’s growth. You will manage both new and pre-owned departments, optimize CRM usage, develop strategic sales initiatives, and drive profitability through process discipline and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10+ sales professionals to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that expand our customer base and maximize market share across retail and B2B channels.
- Desk all deals efficiently, ensuring profitability, compliance, and complete customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory mix, pricing strategy, and aged-unit control to maintain optimal stock and margin health.
- Ensure proper use of CRM (VinSolutions) to track leads, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with F&I, Service, and Accounting to ensure smooth operations and cross-departmental success.
- Conduct ongoing coaching sessions to develop staff in sales techniques, retail math, product knowledge, and organizational skills.
- Partner with marketing to create effective outreach, digital, and promotional campaigns that drive traffic and brand awareness.
- Maintain high CSI and reputation management standards across all online and customer feedback platforms.
- Represent the dealership with professionalism and enthusiasm at community, brand, and customer events.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven success as a General Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or Sales Director in a high-performing automotive dealership.
- We will also consider a top-performing Sales Manager with consistent record-setting results and verifiable performance history.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding volume, gross, and CSI goals.
- Deep understanding of inventory management, CRM systems (VinSolutions preferred), and F&I structure.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills.
- B2B or outside sales experience a plus.
- Hands-on, motivational leadership style with a focus on accountability and team growth.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Honesdale, PA.
