Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic, process-driven Sales Manager to lead our Spirit Lake Ford CDJR sales team. The ideal candidate is a motivator, coach, and closer — someone who thrives on developing people, improving processes, and delivering consistent results.
You will oversee daily sales operations, manage the sales team, maximize gross, drive F&I performance, and ensure our customers receive an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.
What You’ll DoLeadership & Team Development
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Conduct daily sales huddles, set clear expectations, and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Coach team members on product knowledge, lead follow-up, appointment setting, and closing skills.
Operational Excellence
- Manage all showroom activity and ensure every customer receives a professional introduction and manager T.O.
- Maintain CRM accountability (lead response times, follow-up tasks, appointment scheduling).
- Monitor inventory, pricing, and vehicle merchandising to maximize traffic and gross.
- Work collaboratively with F&I to improve penetrations and overall PVR.
Sales Performance
- Drive consistent appointment, show, and close rates.
- Support the team in working unsold showroom traffic and online leads.
- Ensure every deal is structured for maximum profit while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Customer Experience
- Oversee the complete sales process to ensure transparency, ease, and exceptional service.
- Engage with customers face-to-face, via phone, and by video when needed.
- Resolve escalations and guarantee a smooth sales-to-service handoff.
