Job Overview
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will support the Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our team meets and exceeds sales targets while delivering exceptional service. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve their best, and your organizational skills will keep our store running smoothly.

What you’ll do

Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals through effective training and development.
Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
Conduct employee orientation and interviews to build a strong, skilled team.
Manage customer service inquiries, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Implement effective marketing strategies to promote products and drive sales.
Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and cash handling.

Experience

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with a focus on sales.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales management.
Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising team members in a retail environment.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and retail math principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and foster teamwork.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance customer interactions.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
