Overview:
Volkswagen of Warner Robins, part of the respected Troncalli Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our dealership operations. This is a unique opportunity to take the helm of a growing location and make a significant impact on performance, team development, and customer satisfaction. We are open to considering relocations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day to day operations of dealership operations
Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sale and brand visibility for the car dealership
Develop and lead a high-performing sales team
Develops, implements, and executes growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
Ensures customer satisfaction metrics are met
Forecast sales and monitors performance metrics
Cultivates customer relationships through local community involvement
Stays abreast of state and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
Maintains compliance with manufacturer and automotive group standards

Automotive General Manager Qualifications

Experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is required
Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles
Proven track record of successfully leading and developing a team.
Proven experience in a retail management role or similar position with strong leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in sales techniques with a solid understanding of retail sales processes.
Strong skills in inventory management and control, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet business demands.
