Overview:
Volkswagen of Warner Robins, part of the respected Troncalli Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our dealership operations. This is a unique opportunity to take the helm of a growing location and make a significant impact on performance, team development, and customer satisfaction. We are open to considering relocations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of dealership operations
- Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sale and brand visibility for the car dealership
- Develop and lead a high-performing sales team
- Develops, implements, and executes growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
- Ensures customer satisfaction metrics are met
- Forecast sales and monitors performance metrics
- Cultivates customer relationships through local community involvement
- Stays abreast of state and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
- Maintains compliance with manufacturer and automotive group standards
Automotive General Manager Qualifications
- Experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is required
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
- Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing a team.
- Proven experience in a retail management role or similar position with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in sales techniques with a solid understanding of retail sales processes.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet business demands.
