Key Responsibilities:
- Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities.
- Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers.
- Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance.
- Manage profitability in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments.
- Develop and manage effective advertising and marketing plans.
- Foster productive relationships throughout the dealership.
- Champion the customer service index (CSI) across the dealership.
- Maintain positive and ethical relationships with employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of achieving goals.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Prior automotive general sales management or sales management experience is required.
