Daily Responsibilities – Used Car Sales Manager
- Oversee and manage used vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and front-line readiness (lot walk, merchandising, wholesale adjustments)
- Review daily leads and outbound communications via Dealer software to drive engagement and conversions
- Appraise vehicles and establish consistent valuation standards aligned with market conditions
- Collaborate with management on trade-in strategy and acquisition opportunities
- Support sales team in closing deals and building lasting customer relationships
- Lead weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and performance coaching
- Approve sales contracts and assist in finalizing transactions
- Monitor advertising efforts and provide feedback on promotional strategies
- Set and track unit sales and gross profit targets for daily operating control
- Prepare forecasts and performance reports to guide decision-making
- Maintain working knowledge of CRM systems, inventory tools, and dealership software
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales experience with a proven record of meeting targets and driving profitability
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 1 year of used vehicle sales experience and broad product knowledge across makes and models
- 3+ years managing dealership inventory; supervisory experience preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor; reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on trust-building and satisfaction
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of multitasking across systems
