Your primary mission will be to mentor, train, and guide our sales associates, helping them to master their craft and deliver an exceptional customer experience. While you will oversee daily sales operations, a large portion of your role will be dedicated to the growth and professional development of your team.
- Develop and Inspire: You will be responsible for the continuous support, motivation, and professional development of our sales associates.
- Drive Excellence: You'll guide the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals, all while upholding our high standards for customer satisfaction and service.
- Strategic Oversight: You will manage daily sales activities, monitor market trends, and implement innovative strategies to ensure our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship, conduct strategic sales meetings, and actively work to recognize and promote high performance.
- Operational Management: Oversee lead control, pricing, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll identify problem areas and direct corrective actions.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and General Manager to prepare sales forecasts, manage budgets, and contribute to the dealership's strategic goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in an automotive sales management role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) such as Reynolds and Reynolds, DealerTrack, and DealerSocket CRM. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license and sales license are required.
