We are seeking a motivated and dynamic General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive exceptional performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new and used automotive sales, and possess the leadership skills necessary to inspire and train staff effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Have prime and subprime finance experience
- Maintain strong manufacturer relationships and understand their KPI's and inventory opportunities
- Manage used car inventory to a strict and healthy turn
- Foster a positive and competitive team environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, with a preference for domestic new car sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales goals
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic plans
- High level of motivation, energy, and enthusiasm
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
