Basic Function:
Provide excellent leadership while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills in the performance of all duties and daily operations needed to grow a successful Wheel and Tire store. A “Car person” with proficiency in making customers vehicles look great with the proper selection of wheels and tires. Responsible for customer relationships, rental account and cash sales growth, product ordering and installation scheduling.
- Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy toward customers at all times regardless of the customer disposition.
- Adhere to dress and grooming standards.
- Answer telephone by the third ring and direct caller to appropriate coworker.
- Close all Lease Agreements as outlined in RimTyme R.O.L.L.
- Understand and follow the procedures for establishing proper payment due dates.
- Take customer payments as outlined in the training materials.
- Conduct customer call backs on new deliveries within three business days.
- Manages the RimTyme CRM Tool per company policy.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
Secondary Duties:
- Demonstrate/explain the features and benefits of automotive merchandise to prospective customers.
- Explain the features and benefits of all customer programs to prospective customers.
- Assist customers in completing the Order Form.
- Verify completed Order Forms immediately as outlined in the training materials.
- Understand and follow the procedures for scheduling an installation.
- Schedule and perform installations as needed and if needed.
Business Growth
- An expert in Wheels and tires that provides customers with wheel and tire recommendations per their experience in making customers rides look great!
- Make every effort to close all Rental or Cash Sale opportunities.
- Update business status board or tracking system daily.
- Make every effort to provide Club and/or LDW to every customer.
- Enter information from the Rental Order form into the computer as outlined in RimTyme R.O.L.L. and by the franchisee.
- Continuously ask existing customers for new business referrals.
- Execute all franchise growth programs, including prospecting customer references and soliciting inactive customers to re-rent.
- Execute the RimTyme CRM Tool to ensure that all leads are worked with a daily “Status Change” per the CRM instructions.
- Set and communicate the weekly growth goals with the store team.

On an average daily basis this position can expect to handle merchandise weighing at least 100 pounds in duties such as Install, transfer, pick up, setup / moving of automotive rims, tires and complete wheels on the showroom floor, organizing the back room or mounting them on vehicles. Handling merchandise weighing at least 75 pounds or greater can be expected to occur on an average of 10 to 50 times per week. Merchandise may have to be carried for 200 feet or more.
Height of hands above floor during push/pull: When pulling merchandise up stairs or steps using a hand-truck, the hands are generally about waist height. During other push/pull tasks the hands are generally at waist to mid-chest height.
To push/pull merchandise up a step, forces of 135 to 200 pounds can be required. This can be expected to occur 10 to 20 times per week. This number does not include each individual step that will be encountered rather an average of the number of times situations would be encountered requiring this kind of force.
This daily activity is required to complete store tasks, such as: climb stairs to customer’s residence, climb into cab of a Pickup truck or back of a Semi-Truck to unload tires or wheels. May have to climb ladders to display promotional material, clean store or place/retrieve merchandise from shelves or wheel racks.

This hourly to daily activity is required to complete store task such as: retrieving products from near floor level, cleaning store, installing and uninstalling tires rim and complete wheels or automotive accessories.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to ambient outside temperatures and sudden changes in temperature. Exposure to lifted automobiles, trucks and vans as potential crushing hazards. Exposure to whole body vibration from seat or floor of vehicles. Cervical rotation may be required to see approaching side traffic when driving vehicles.
Some work will be performed in extreme heat or cold when working outside. Slippery walking conditions can exist during wet or icy weather. Work will be performed during the day and at night. Night-time can make visibility more difficult.
