A high-volume, growth-oriented automotive dealership in the Nashville area is conducting a confidential search for an accomplished General Sales Manager to lead and elevate its sales operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Oversee and optimize all sales operations (new, used, F&I alignment, desking, inventory strategy)
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers and sales teams to consistently exceed performance goals
- Drive profitability through strong forecasting, KPI management, and process improvement
- Partner closely with executive leadership to execute growth initiatives
- Maintain a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance
- Ensure exceptional customer experience while maximizing revenue and market share
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a General Sales Manager (or strong Sales Director/SM ready for the next step)
- Demonstrated success in high-volume or performance-driven dealerships
- Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of sales metrics and inventory management
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, mentor, and hold teams accountable
- Experience with modern CRM tools, desking systems, and digital retailing strategies
- Reputation for professionalism, consistency, and results
