Our Lake Park operation is a key part of our network, serving customers in Georgia and surrounding areas with a wide selection of new and used RVs, parts, service, and financing options. Position Summary, The General Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations at our Lake Park RV dealership. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, this role is responsible for driving profitability, leading a high-performing team, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, and aligning the location's performance with company goals across our multi-location network. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep RV or automotive dealership experience, strong business acumen, and a passion for the RV lifestyle.Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate department managers and staff (sales, service, parts, F&I). Foster a positive, motivated team culture while holding teams accountable for performance.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets. Oversee new and used RV inventory selection, pricing, and merchandising to maximize turnover and gross profit.
- Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day dealership operations, including service department efficiency, parts inventory, and facility maintenance. Ensure compliance with all company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor P&L statements, control expenses, and drive overall profitability. Collaborate with ownership on forecasting and reporting.
- Customer Experience: Champion exceptional customer service standards. Resolve escalated issues, build long-term customer relationships, and promote customer retention through follow-up and loyalty programs.
- Marketing and Community Engagement: Work with corporate marketing on local promotions, events, and advertising to increase foot traffic and brand awareness in the Lake Park area.
- Inventory and Vendor Relations: Maintain optimal inventory levels, negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers, and ensure timely ordering and stocking of RVs and accessories.
- Multi-Location Collaboration: Align Lake Park operations with best practices from our other seven locations, sharing insights and contributing to chain-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience in an RV dealership, automotive dealership, or related industry; at least 3 years in a General Manager or similar senior leadership role preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals, improving profitability, and leading teams in a retail or dealership environment.
- Strong knowledge of RV products, financing (F&I), service operations, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in dealership management software, Microsoft Office, and financial reporting tools.
