We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automotive sales processes, and exceptional communication abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-end sales, develop strategic sales pipelines, and enhance customer relationships through innovative marketing and sales techniques. Bilingual proficiency and experience with CRM software are highly valued to effectively serve diverse client needs and optimize sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the automotive sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the dealership’s market share.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting new clients through cold calling to closing high-end vehicle deals.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow-up activities, and sales progress.
- Oversee inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels for high-demand vehicles.
- Conduct negotiations with customers, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Support upselling efforts by identifying customer needs and presenting appropriate vehicle options.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing clients through public speaking engagements or promotional events.
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette, communication skills, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, inventory control procedures, and retail math principles for accurate reporting and forecasting.
Experience
- Proven track record in automobile sales, preferably within a dealership environment with dealership experience.
- Strong background in sales management, including leading teams in retail sales and outbound sales environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline, utilizing CRM tools effectively for customer relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience in high-volume sales for new and used markets.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in retail math, inventory management, inventory control, and overall dealership operations.
