Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our dealership operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building strong customer relationships, and drives all departments sales through strategic management. As the face of the dealership, you will oversee sales of all departments, inventory, customer service, and team development to ensure exceptional performance and growth. Your expertise in B2C sales, negotiation, and retail management will be instrumental in elevating our brand and achieving outstanding results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass monthly sales targets through effective coaching, training, and performance management
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focusing on all dealership sales, B2C opportunities, and expanding the sales pipelines for all departments
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners to enhance dealership visibility and reputation
- Oversee inventory management, inventory control, and retail math to maximize profitability while maintaining optimal stock levels
- Implement and utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and support outbound sales efforts including cold calling and upselling
- Conduct negotiations with clients to close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication skills
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, public speaking engagements, and promotional events to attract new business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, legal requirements, and safety standards while maintaining high levels of phone etiquette and professional communication
Experience
- Proven track record in automotive sales management or dealership leadership with demonstrated success in high-end or luxury vehicle markets
- Extensive experience in outside sales, B2C sales, cold calling, upselling, and developing a robust sales pipeline
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Proficiency in CRM software tools for managing customer data, tracking sales activities, and supporting outbound sales strategies
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, retail math, and retail sales processes efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
- Exceptional communication skills including public speaking capabilities for marketing events or community outreach initiatives
- Prior dealership experience is preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems and automotive retail math is essential

Pay: $128,620.46 - $342,639.70 per year
