A franchised Chevrolet dealership committed to excellence in customer satisfaction, community presence, and profitability is seeking an experienced General Manager.
Job Summary
You will oversee all dealership operations, including Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and Administration. As the General Manager, you will hold Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the location and drive overall dealership performance through leadership, strategic planning, and financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across all departments to meet sales and profitability targets.
- Hire, train, and motivate department managers (Sales, Service, Parts, F&I, Office).
- Review and analyze financial performance (DOC, P&L, forecasts) and deliver timely reporting to dealer leadership.
- Optimize vehicle inventory and pricing strategies to align with market and group objectives.
- Promote and maintain superior customer service and retention.
- Ensure compliance with GM policies, legal regulations, and OEM requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in dealership management (GM or GSM preferred); domestic franchise
- Demonstrated success in P&L oversight and business development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma or GED minimum.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $144,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
