We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
Experience at a General Motors dealership required. Ownership buy-in potential is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the dealership’s operations to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, focusing on outbound sales initiatives.
- Conduct cold calling efforts to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and partners to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure exceptional phone etiquette is maintained across all customer interactions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a dealership or similar environment.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control processes.
- Proficiency in cold calling techniques and outbound sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to cater to diverse clientele.
- Strong mathematical skills for managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
