We are confidentially looking for a GM in the Portland area.
Responsible for leading overall daily operations across sales, service, parts and finance departments. The General Manager is responsible for operations, profitability, performance results, and customer satisfaction throughout the dealership.
- Hands On
- Make sure pictures posted for every unit online
- Maintains CSI at or above company standards
- Oversees hiring and discipline decisions
- Oversees pricing and inventory policies are followed
- Make sure videos go to every customer for the unit they are interested in
- Maintains good working relationship with manufacturers and lending institutions
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards and process
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Hire, train and mentor department managers
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Assesses the operations of all dealership departments
- Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability
- Maintains effective employee relations and community involvement
- Conducts weekly manager meetings, trains staff
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Maintain a positive working environment with opportunities for professional growth through training and advancement.
- Prepare and manage the dealership's monthly/annual budgets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously DESK, CIT, Negotiations, Cheerleading, Service Issues, Technician hours, Owner Updates, and Events, to name a few.
- Ability to work the Desk and train all levels of staff on process and being the champion for the goals.
- Master of all CRM reports to maximize opportunities and results.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and goals
- At least 4 years in a high-volume retail vehicle dealership as a successful General Manager
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans

- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test

Pay: $185,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year
