Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of used car sales, including inventory management, sales strategies, and team development. This role requires a strong understanding of the automotive market and the ability to drive sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage the used car inventory, including purchasing, pricing, and appraising vehicles to maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and customer engagement.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the used car department, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Foster relationships with customers through exceptional service and follow-up communication.
- Utilize dealership software for inventory control and sales tracking.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling potential customers to generate leads.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership used car management is required.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control are essential.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Proficient in using dealership software for managing inventory and sales processes.
- Strong negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach to selling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
