We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our automotive sales team. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in finalizing vehicle sales by guiding customers through the decision-making process, addressing objections, and ensuring a smooth and professional closing experience. This individual will work closely with sales consultants, finance, and management to maximize conversions and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Close Vehicle Sales: Take over from sales consultants at the appropriate stage of the process to finalize deals and secure commitments.
- Customer Engagement: Build trust and rapport with customers, answer final questions, and provide reassurance to help them make confident purchase decisions.
- Objection Handling: Skillfully address customer hesitations related to price, financing, warranties, or features.
- Finance & Warranty Presentation: Collaborate with the finance department to introduce financing options, extended warranties, and add-on products.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Ensure profitability while providing fair and transparent terms to customers.
- Compliance & Documentation: Review all required paperwork with accuracy, ensuring adherence to dealership and manufacturer policies.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales staff to improve deal flow, share strategies, and provide coaching on effective closing techniques.
- Follow-Up: Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell or referral opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in automotive sales or related closing role; proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening
- Ability to overcome objections and maintain composure under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of automotive products, financing options, warranties, and dealership sales processes.
