Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, developing, motivating and leading a highly talented and high performing sales team. Highly competitive Pay! Great culture, training opportunities, performance groups and a chance to advance your career!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Hire, train and coach sales staff to ensure the best possible customer experience
- Ensure the dealership meets its new vehicle unit sales quotas and its objectives on a monthly/daily basis
- Ensure that the retail units sold assist the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and annual basis
- Efficiently work the desk and have working knowledge of the DMS
- Display a professional behavior when interacting with customers, coworkers, employees and vendors
- Achieve profit goals by department and hold teams accountable
- Serve as liaison and leader between all departments
- Successful track record as Pre-Owned Manager, GSM or GM in a large volume dealership setting
- ADP and/or Reynolds experience
- CRM experience
- Internet marketing experience
- Profit/loss business management experience
- Pre-Owned inventory management & buying skills
- Proven hiring and training results
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Able to take charge, set and achieve challenging goals
- Ability to build rapport with clients and staff
- Consultative selling skills
- Able to evaluate staff fairly and impartially
- Ability to proactively respond to needs
- Experience putting protocols into place and upholding existing policies
- Ability to create lifetime customers by ensuring consistent quality customer experiences
