Our dealership is one of the top performing dealers in the Northeast Region in all three departments for the brand we represent. We are looking for our next General Sales Manager. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic candidate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for automobiles, and the ability to connect with customers to meet their needs effectively. Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features and benefits.
- Manage inventory control and maintain an organized display of vehicles.
- Conduct cold calling to generate leads and follow up on potential sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking vehicle availability and sales trends.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
- Stay informed about the latest automotive trends, features, and financing options.
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive Sales Manager with Finance experience being a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating financing options and payments.
- Understands how to read every situation and work deals effectively from the start.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Experience with inventory control and management.
- Experience with effectively managing multiple people in a fast environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in cold calling techniques to generate new business opportunities.
- A passion for automobiles and knowledge of various makes and models is beneficial.
- A high understanding of the used car market, how to appraise cars, get them reconditioned, and marketed effectively.
- Most importantly, can integrate into an already successful and fine-tuned sales department and continue to move the needle upward month in and month out.
