Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Automotive General Manager (Import) to lead our high-end import vehicle dealership to new heights. Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through strategic planning and effective coaching.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers, utilizing CRM software to track sales pipeline progress.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through closing deals, including cold calling, outbound sales efforts, and upselling high-end vehicles.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients and fleet buyers through professional negotiation and tailored service offerings.
- Oversee inventory control and management to ensure optimal stock levels of imported vehicles, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Conduct regular public speaking engagements and dealership events to promote the brand and enhance community engagement.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff deliver excellent phone etiquette, personalized support, and follow-up care.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and develop actionable plans for continuous growth.
- Support the sales team with outbound calls, lead generation activities, and deal support to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, local regulations, and safety standards while fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales management with a focus on import or high-end vehicles; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong background in sales, negotiation, and high-end retail sales environments.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing a comprehensive sales pipeline using CRM software tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in inventory management and retail math calculations.
- Ability to excel in outbound sales activities such as cold calling and upselling premium vehicles.
- Skilled in public speaking, marketing initiatives, and customer relationship building.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems, retail math, and organizational planning tools.
