Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Account Manager to join our North American sales team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, closing sales, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing and engineering teams at assigned accounts.
- Develop and present sales proposals, quotes, and presentations aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and quality teams to meet customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to inform strategic planning.
- Provide timely updates on sales activity, opportunities, and program status.
- Manage supplier portals and coordinate communications between customer and internal teams.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer visits to represent the company and promote products.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience (automotive industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing or powertrain components.
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Work Schedule:
Travel is required. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weekend or extended hours as business needs require.
